About Us
We, Öykü, Merve, and Ege, are students with the mission of
finding greenery in the gray atmosphere of Ankara.
Our inspiration comes from our belief that there is a more sustainable way to exist in this world.
And Ankara is the protagonist of our journey.
We aim to highlight the stories of local businesses, thrift stores,
restaurants that promote a reduction in plastic consumption, and more!
After getting to know us closer, take some time to explore the blog and
find the intersection of sustainability with Ankara.
Read on and enjoy!
Come Closer!
Nice to meet you 🤝🏻

Öykü Yorulmaz
Hey there! I am Öykü Yorulmaz and a 3rd-year ELIT student at Bilkent University.
Along with my ambition to live as sustainable as possible, I also love using photography - mostly analogues- to convey a narrative. As someone who is emotionally authentic, I have been working in the marketing sector for two years, leveraging this personality attribute of mine to build an emotional bond with potential customers.
Working in two different industries, both in Turkey and Ireland-based firms, has allowed me to focus on developing my content writing and creation skills.
In addition, one of my main aspirations is to create a company that emphasizes sustainability and ethical production while conducting its marketing strategies.
I passionately keep working and creating, hoping that this dream of mine will come true one day.

Merve Konuk
I'm Merve Konuk. I am a senior student in American Culture and Literature at Bilkent University.
I love traveling, interacting with different cultures and languages, and meeting new people from variety of cultures. Because I love to communicate with people, I met with lots of friends by joining Bilkent University Information office for prospective students and I had the chance to catch up with this experience before I graduated by going to different cities with different crews and addressing many audiences at education fairs with different people.
One of my biggest dreams is to meet more cultures, discover new places and meet more people!
Becoming aware of how our choices will affect the well-being of current and future generations, and acting responsibly towards the planet correspondingly mean a lot to me.

Ege Aksoy
Hey fellow sustainers! I am Ege Aksoy, a third-year communication and design student who tries his best to integrate sustainability into my daily habits in a world where I can't even sustain my daily habits.
In an age where trends only have a lifespan of three days, I hope sustainability will find its way into our everyday lives.
Environmental factors play a significant role in how conveniently an individual can keep their sustaining routines.
I hope this blog helps you to decrease those environmental factors and provide you with the best sustainable options in Ankara!
